The F.A.S.T. Unweighting AFO is a unique unweighting Ankle Foot Orthosis using proven design concepts and materials. The supple leather calf corset allows for a moldable self-reconforming orthosis. This design provides for a completely adjustable/total contact hydrostatic lift of the inverted cone shape of the calf, which can achieve 100% unweighting! The addition of rigid carbon fiber and or metal joints provides a strong stable substructure in order to transfer weight to the calf and not through the foot and ankle.
